Dr. Ching-Chun Huang is a Professor in the Department of Computer Science at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU), Taiwan, where he also serves as the Director of the Computer Vision Center. In addition to his academic roles, he serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Mechanical and Mechatronics Systems Research Laboratories of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan, contributing to the advancement and industrial deployment of AI and intelligent systems.
His research interests span computer vision, generative AI, image restoration and super-resolution, multimedia processing, 3D vision, and multimodal perception for autonomous driving. He has published more than 150 papers in leading international conferences and journals, including ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, WACV, and ACM Multimedia.
Dr. Huang is an IEEE Senior Member and currently serves as an Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems for Video Technology (TCSVT). He has also contributed extensively to the international research community through leadership and organizing roles in major conferences, including IEEE ICCE-TW, ACM Multimedia Asia, ICME, and VCIP.
